HOLLYWOOD MARRIAGE: APRIL APPAREL TO LAUNCH UNIQUE NEW CLOTHING LINE INSPIRED BY BIG SCREEN CHARACTERS FROM O’SEA PICTURES PRODUCTIONS
NEW YORK, NY. – It will soon be possible to dress in the style of characters portrayed by some of Hollywood’s biggest names. New York fashion company April Apparel has entered into a unique agreement with O’Sea Pictures to develop a new clothing line inspired by characters from major O’ Sea productions.
The clothing line will be modeled on characters depicted by successful Hollywood stars with whom O’Sea has exclusive, multi-film contracts. April Apparel will bring the glamour of the big screen to upscale department stores as consumers can base their style on characters portrayed by popular actors including Jennifer Lawrence, Will Smith, Anne Hathaway, Halle Berry and Ryan Gosling.
“This is a whole new way to see fashion,” says April Ormand, President and CEO of April Apparel. “Now when a person’s favourite O’Sea movie character is wearing something a consumer likes, it can be theirs.”
Among the featured designs are leather leggings inspired by Jennifer Lawrence’s character in the upcoming Western comedy Foxtail. Other designs will be based on the corsets and corset tops worn in civil war epic Rebel Ecstasy. The range will also include formal and business attire.
For Ormand, who previously designed for Clien Fashions and Gallante, this Hollywood partnership is the latest venture in a successful history of designing popular fashion based on films. April Apparel developed a clothing line influenced by Ryan Gosling’s role in the 2014 film Only God Forgives.
In targeting adult film-goers, this innovative line will expand on established April Apparel lines. Children’s lines inspired by films Cobalt Warriors and Deep Forest Baby Bunnies were extremely popular, selling more than 800,000 apparel items combined.
